On this day in history …

1979_marchThe National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights — the  first such march on Washington — took place on this day in 1979.

Between 100,000 and 250,000 people marched that day demanding “an end to all social, economic, judicial, and legal oppression of lesbian and gay people.”

The event was covered extensively by the media.

To date there have been four national marches on Washington organized by the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered (LGBT) community — in 1979, 1987, 1993, and 2000.

It’s been 30 years since the first one, folks … congrats for all you’ve accomplished and keep fighting the good fight!

Oh … and to you retards skeeved out by the thought of extending equal rights to anyone UNlike yourselves?
Happy Hump Day, bitches 😉

Lions’ Roar

img12273875CONGRATULATIONS DETROIT LIONS!

Those hot sluts defeated the Washington Redskins last night to win their first game since Dec. 23, 2007 to end their 19-game losing streak — second only in NFL history to Tampa Bay’s 26 -game slide.

Now let’s just hope that win doesn’t mark their longest winning streak …
