Well, he does seem to be be enjoying himself. I think it’s less creepy than the little girls getting waxes.

A friend and I had a serious discussion about this today. He is the parent of a gay-identified adopted son about the age of this boy. We both had the same mixed feelings.
1. No parent should be posting this on the Internet.
2. Just like little girls in beauty pagents, this boy doesn’t understand the sexualized nature of what he’s doing.
3. BUT, unlike most of those girls, he appears to be really enjoying himself. He has obviously put a lot of effort and practice into this, and has impressive timing.
My friend’s conclusion is that he should be encouraged in his obvious love of dance and drag but via less sexualized content.

Oh… I just realized “THE WHAT?!?!?” referred to “little girls getting waxes.” I’ve seen two things recently about mothers having their daughters waxed. I thought you posted that, but I guess not.
The first one is about pre-teen girls getting bikini waxes. Apparently, “For waxing, 12 years old is the ‘new normal,’ ”
The second is a video of a toddler getting her eyebrows waxed. It’s pretty upsetting.

Number One – straight on, Sara!
Putting a video like this out there is a huge concern to me simply because of the ways in which it could be interpreted, viewed and used (for all sorts of wrong).
I’ve already found versions of it spliced in with other things – and some were really disturbing.
Plus — how is this little guy going to feel about this video in a year, 3, 5, 10? Because we can’t know and because we know cyberspace is filled with an undercoating of ick, I just think parents have to exercise caution about these things.

The waxing — I am speechless (and THAT is saying something!)

He had hands. Sewn on his, for lack of a better word, shirt.
I’m gonna have to do something drastice, because I can’t just unsee this, you realize.
