I just don’t get it

Would you stand online at 4 a.m. for with hundreds of tired, cranky, jacked-up-on-too-much-caffeine freaky folks to get this stupid thing? –>

I wouldn’t, but according to the local rag, two breeders with seven dwarfs kids between them did just that.

These two bitches rolled up at 3 in the A and M, and were queued up with the other losers waiting to snag a bunch of Polly Pocket crap and Littlest Pet Shop shit their spawn will break and lose before Easter.

If, as the saying goes, time actually is money, then I fail to find the bargain here.

Surely there’s a better way to have a merry merry than to pull third-shift hours in pursuit of some silly plaything that’s soon to be passé.

It’s not just the lines — it’s what happens when the doors open adn all those people rush to get inside.
Did you know that a guy was trampled to death by a crowd trying to get into a walmart today? They said a pregnant woman also lost her baby because of the crush of people. I found the story here http://www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/2008/11/28/2008-11-28_worker_dies_at_long_island_walmart_after.html

something is really wrong with these poeple!!!!!

I like to consider myself a thrifty shopper but these people are absolutely insane. No way would you catch me standing in line with these morons, not even at 3pm.

” I saved $10 on Barbie and saved $5 on Polly Pocket. Soon I’ll be paying the hospital $3000 for my stitches and broken arm. And…how long does ‘Battery With Deadly Weapon’ stay on your record?”

Is it just women or do you ever see dudes waiting on line for anything other than the electronics store stuff??
Seriously — the photos only ever show them outside Best Buy and such — never the Toys R Us line!

That’s because men are selfish pigs — DOH! Did I just say that outloud? — They’ll only stand in line for their own toys… not toys for their children.

    You said it, MommyCity!!!

  • 6. MommyCity  |  November 30, 2008 at 11:37 pm

I came up with another theory. Perhaps they’re just afraid? Afraid of having their butt kicked by a breeder on a mission.

“Hey Billy Bob. What happened to yer eye man?”
“Well…. I was up at Target… errr I mean… Rusty’s Bar & Grill….and I was reaching for the last Cabbage Patch… I mean Budweiser. Then, out of nowhere this broad…. I mean biker…. You know what Jimmy Jack Joe!?!? Mind yer own freakin business.”

Oh dare to dream, MommyCity! Dare to dream!!
I’d buy a ticket to that action!

maybe those hours could have been better spent working and earning a dollar instead of standing in line all night to save 10 cents. hmm. i bet they weren’t fighting over the paternity tests to see who actually was the daddys. lol.

i know. work = no welfare check and work = 8 hrs not spent on your back fattening up that welfare check.

sorry folks. forgot where i was posting… WELFARE CHECKS for everybody!!

how was your thanksgiving cookie? it’s *#@ snowing again up here!

Curious – I was beginning to think you’d forgotten about l’il ol’ me! I heard from a relly that it was snowing in Cullman – ACK! That is definitely not happening here. It gets to 71 down here and folks break out the parkas (NOT kidding) …

So who have you been harassing since it hasn’t been me?!?

8 hours on your back? Hmmm… Was that conception or delivery??

  • 11. lifeisacookie  |  December 2, 2008 at 2:27 pm

8 hours on your back is hard, yo! I remember the last time I did it — tiring! But I got new boobs, a butt and some nifty cutlets outta the deal.
Just kidding!!! Not really … but maybe … wait – what were we talking about again?

i had to be nice this past week. mom was happy no fights or arguments broke out. went to the hank williams museum for the first time. visited a couple friends and played some music and spent the rest of the time in the shop building furniture for christmas gifts.

and yes, we have about 4-5 inches snow on the ground right now. i felt the urge to buy milk and bread yesterday. lmao
