George W. Bush is a massive toolBringing his special brand of dumbassness to the kiddie table at the G-8 summit, President George Worldraper Bush urged the international community to punish Robert Mugabe and the Zimbabwe government for suppressing political opponents and using violence, trickery and deception at the ballot box.

“I am extremely disappointed in the elections, which I labeled a sham election.”

Oh, I’m sorry. I couldn’t help myself.

What a hum-DINGER, right?!?
HOOooooo boy …

I guess someone  was absent the day they went over that whole Pot and Kettle thing.

Hooo Boy is right! People who still think that Bush wasn’t really elected need to get a grip, get a life and move on. I’m thankful we weren’t cursed with Al Gore. We could all be eating nuts and berries, shivering in the winter, steaming in the summer and walking the soles of our shoes off. Except of course, for Al and his fellow phony prophets of doom and gloom. As for Mugabe, just why is it that no one else seems to do anything about such situations? They’re certainly quick to blame the US for not doing enough.

Yes, I agree, bush was not duly elected. Not the first time when the supreme court chose him over Gore and if they had been allowed to continue the recount in Florida in 2000, Gore would have won and we would not have had 9-11 and the bush wars and the recession. So sad. And so sad that some people in this country are still so ignorant.

Funny how BUSH is concerned with a broken election in Africa, but cares nothing about people dieing in Sudan from a corupt administration who receives funds from CHINA. The US wants the opposition to lead in Zimbabwe because the US can control them more that than can Mugabe.

To call W a hypocrite is an understatement. Condemn Mugabe for sham elections but don’t boycott the opening ceremonies in Beijing because it might ‘offend’ the Chinese. At least Zimbabwe HAD an election, false as it was. Sure can’t say the same thing for China! Or Tibet for that matter. Hypocrite. Loser. Liar and Has-been.

Too funny 🙂 … I happened to be touring the UN the day Zimbabwe was admitted to the General Assembly. For the first few years of independence, it was held up as a model of what South Africa ought to become. Now it’s just been a source of pain and embarassment for the last decade. But I guess that’s what happens when somebody runs out of ideas long before ambition…

p.s. Can we do a fundraiser to distribute HBO’s “Recount” to all the people who still don’t get it?

Lily> Doom and gloom is happening because it’s reality (indymac, global warming, war, oil prices…).
You’re for Bush ’cause you’d rather live in your happy-giddy world of dreams where everything is great and shiny and simple than face the reality of this crappy world we live in (and I’m an optimistic person).
I wanna be there the day you wake up.
